New Zealand Global Students

If you are aged between 15 - 18 you can come and learn English in a NZ school environment as an exchange student or full fee paying student for an academic year.

NZIIU has been helping to bring students to New Zealand for over 16 years.

NZ schools welcome International Students into English speaking classes.
NZ has High Schools that are diverse in size and location offering a wide range of general and specialist courses.

The academic school year in NZ runs from January to December and is divided into four terms with at least two weeks holiday between each term.

Depending on your interests and level at school the subjects you study will consist of your core subjects: English, Maths, Science, and Physical Education, with optional subjects ranging from Information Technology, Design, Music, and Social Studies, to Food Technology, Economics, and Outdoor Education, to name just a few.

The options are endless and it is dependent upon what level you are intending to study at and each individual schools specialist subjects.
